She has mastered the homebuying process and is proud to offer extensive knowledge of the VA, FHA, conventional and jumbo home loan guidelines. She enjoys the challenge of finding the best loan for a family's individual needs. She especially loves educating and guiding first-time homebuyers throughout the entire loan process as she knows it can seem daunting. Ali comes from a family with strong military ties: both of her grandfathers served - one in the Army and one in the Air Force - with her uncle and nephew also serving in the Marines. She is dedicated to helping Veterans utilize their VA loan benefit! In her spare time, she spends time with her husband and three daughters and goes on runs with her black lab. Wendy earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Utah. With decades of financial, lending and banking experience, she is knowledgeable and devoted to her homebuyers. Wendy provides borrowers with the highest level of service and cares about each of their unique situations and schedules. Wendy understands the military lifestyle and strives to relate and communicate from an empathetic perspective. When she’s not at work, she’s spending time with her three sons and four dogs.

Office Coordinator Melissa “Missy” Draper has worn many hats. As a military spouse, she’s been a barista, deckhand, chiropractic assistant and more. Her years of clerical support and customer service experience have made her feel at home in her role here at Veterans United Home Loans! Missy moved to Auburn from Jacksonville, Florida with her husband and son, and they definitely do not miss the alligators! Their family has been through many moves, and she truly understands the military lifestyle, making her a great asset to the Auburn team. “We help Veterans buy houses!” she says, “I mean, how cool is that?” In addition to her passion for VA loans, Missy loves to hike, kayak and bike ride with her family and their two dogs. Sometimes, they even pan for gold!

Julie lives by a personal philosophy that there is joy in the journey, and she works hard to alleviate stress and ensure her borrowers enjoy their experience. This adventurous spirit follows Julie home, too, where she loves to tackle DIY projects, spend time in the mountains or road trip to the Oregon coast with her husband, their three kids and two dogs.
